Welcome to Outpatient Services East Surgery Center. We are located on the fourth floor at
52 Medical Park Drive East in Birmingham, Alabama. |

When you arrive at our facility, you and your care partner will check in at the front desk and have a seat in our comfortable waiting area. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Our friendly staff will greet you and help you with any remaining insurance, privacy and consent forms. |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
A clinical staff member will escort you and your care partner to your room to prepare you for your surgery or procedure. A nurse will ask you questions about your health, take your vital signs and answer questions you may have at this point. |

Outpatient Services East utilizes 5 Operating Rooms, 6 Gastroenterolgy Procedure Rooms, a Cystoscopy Room, a Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Room and an eye laser room. All rooms contain state of the art equipment and a highly experienced staff. |

After your surgery or procedure you will be transported to recovery. Registered nurses will be at your side while you recover from anesthesia or sedation. You may be discharged home from recovery or since some procedures are more extensive and each patient's recovery response may vary you may return to your admission room to continue recovery. |
